I broke a WD Scorpio 250GB Laptop Drive belonged to one of my friends who had already moved to Italy for further studying. I was thinking how to compensate it. It was supposed to be a good idea that I ordered one at Amazon and then asked the store for shipping to Italy with the destination as my friend's address. At this, people who are familiar with Amazon may think how stupid I was as Amazon will only allow books, DVDs Music and VHS to go international locations. Yes, that's only what I was thinking. But I had changed my mind since I realized that as well.
I went go many online stores based on the US, and then found all of them would not provide their customers international shipping service. Fortunately, I met up an online store, which's specializing in providing computer-related products, called Unity Electronics. Though it couldn't ship a 250GB Laptop Drive to Italy directly, it has partnered with a US mail forwarding company called Bongo International to allow their goods to go internationally.
What's mail forwarding? I clicked to link of Bongo for more information. Finally, I was aware of the concepts. The company would provide you a US mailbox based on its American warehouse that you can use as your personal address in order to buy products online. The purchases you ordered from multi vendors would be shipped to the address and be consolidated for transferring to your door in your home country.
Ok. It's obviously no problem for shipment to Italy. The next problem was the price. Was the 250GB Laptop Drive listed on Unity Electronics cheaper than the one on Amazon? The answer was yes. Unity Electronics offered me only $94.99 each while $104.24 at Amazon. Was there any reason that I should not select it?
