Hi, I'm Kelsie Compton!
My goal with this page is to share my personal take on living and working in Cary, NC, and to give you a place to sound off on your favorite places around town, too.
So first, here's a little about me: My wife (Lisa) and I are Real Estate Broker Associates of RE/MAX UNITED (since June 2006), parents of 4 and grandparents of 1. After 10 moves during our first 24 years of marriage, Lisa and I returned to our favorite town of all our previous relocations - CARY, NORTH CAROLINA! Sooooo - if you or anyone you know is thinking about buying or selling a home in the Triangle Area of North Carolina, call the team that's "been there and done that"!
The one thing you should know...
Cary, NC 27519 is a GREAT place to raise a family! We have great schools, low crime rates, numerous recreational facilities, plenty of job opportunities, wonderful weather, and we're only a few hours from either the beach or the mountains!

- John Favero - John Favero was my high school football coach. He believed in me and helped me to believe in myself and open my eyes to the many opportunities life has to offer. He also provided a kick in the seat of my pants when necessary.

Here's what I think: I'm excited that the Wake County Public School System provides my children such a great education! WCPS and the local governments need to budget now for new school construction (and operation) to handle projected growth as a long-term solution. The best immediate solutions will be found through cooperation between the School Board, local government officials and Parents.
How should Wake County Public Schools best handle the county's tremendous growth and continue to provide children with an outstanding education without mandating a year-round schedule?
