2G DSM

The 2G is the most popular all around of the DSMs, for over all aesthetics, comfort etc. The one place it isn't as preferred as the 1G is that it weighs more. The irony here is that the fastest DSM in the world, in the video above, is a 2G, yet it's a full race car and chassis. the average 2G that you see at typical race events is often a tad slower than the average 1G, although not by much when they are built the same. It could also have to do with 1Gs having been around longer, so they are more willing top gut the interior etc.

Did you know the latest 2G GSX's were around $30,000 when new? They were comparatively as the Evo is now in a price comparison. That could be another reason, is to hold some value and keep her pretty. Regardless, they are very nice cars, and nice to have year round with the all wheel drive. We drive ours in the snow, though a lot of people stow them away for winter, to keep them as rust free as possible.
