Consider getting your elderly loved one a three- or four-wheel scooter, whether they live in the country or in town. Actually, while you are it it, check out one for yourself.     Thank you, Tipi, for your comment. Dad did get several quality years out of that scooter and sure beat sitting in his easy chair all day. He got to be out with long-time friends he knew around town. They are a great tool for those who would otherwise be home-bound.
