30 Year Old Coins from 1982
My mom recently got my dad some coins from the year he was born as a milestone birthday gift. He wasn't turning 30, but coins as a birthday gift can work for just about any birthday since the gift is based on the year they were born.
Since I'm from the US, I like the uncirculated US Proof sets best which is a set of different coins like pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, etc from a given year. Some other countries have similar sets of coins. Or you could get them a single nice coin from the year they were born.
