30 Minute Backlinks

I purchased the 30 Minute Backlinks a few days ago. I've had a blog that I really want to get ranked for, and I was trying to find other ways to get backlinks. I've done all the article writing, lens making, hub creating things (which by the way, I got great results from these methods as well, so you really should do them, or keep doing them.) But I wanted to find a way to get more backlinks quicker than typing until my fingers were numb.

Enter 30 Minute Backlinks...

I read the sales page, I did a quick review search on Google, and I decided to buy it. I was very excited to see what was in the material, because if you've seen the sales page, Michelle is an excellent sales person, and she is very convincing.

Once my purchase was complete, I went into the members area and watched the first video. Now let me tell you, I watched the first video, and barely had enough time to make it to my daughters school to pick her up on time. (I was that glued to my computer.)

I took notes extensively (because I'm a mother of 4 children and I hardly have the time to watch videos once, much less twice!)

The first video was very much in detail, and (just like the sales page says) it was very clear cut. You are actually watching Michelle do every step she is telling you to do. This makes is nice, because I'm a visual person. If I see it once (in most cases!) I can replicate it.

I have to be 100% honest here- when the first video was over, I wanted to implement what I just learned. I didn't though, because I had more material to go over and other videos to watch. So I kept note taking. :)

By the time I had finished watching all the videos, I was so excited I couldn't wait to start making the software Michelle talks about. (By the way- it really is simple, you don't need to know anything about anything. The programs are literally point and click.)

So my first test was a toolbar. I made one in less than 15 minutes. Then, I submitted my software to the directories. (Again, this is all laid out in black and white for you.)

The results? Not what I expected. Here's why. In the FAQ section of 30 Minute Backlinks, someone asks if gaining too many links too fast can hurt your rankings. She said she has never had a problem with it, but I think I need to beg to differ on that.

I submitted my toolbar to over 100 directories, and I'm fairly certain Google saw that and said "wait one minute here. This site doesn't usually get that many backlinks in a day." My site had disappeared from my second page ranking to not being found at all.

So, I did another test for another site. The new site had good rankings a few weeks back, but had since been lost off the charts. It was somewhere on page 10. I made an ebook, and I submitted it to just one directory (which is about 35 sites.) That's all I did. I checked my stats the next day, and guess what? My site was on the second page.

Then I did another test. The first site I did that got knocked off? I made an ebook for that one as well, and I submitted it to just as many sites as before (over 100). I'm back on page 3 now, when I wasn't even found before.)

In conclusion, I learned something about getting backlinks. Google likes backlinks (no, Google loves backlinks) but the G-man doesn't like it when you go off and do something unatural. Keep your backlinking consistent. If you normally get between 20-40 links a day, keep it that way, and gradually build up. Don't just submit a huge 100 backlinking plan.

So is 30 Minute Backlinks worth it?

Absolutely. The product delivered exactly what it said it would, I have proven results, and it's super easy to do and understand. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. It's my own fault I was over ambitious the first go around. :)
