I read Allen Carr's book "The Easy Way to Stop Smoking " and became a non smoker right then and there. Easy as pie! His book is so logical and convincing!

Really nice lens. I just realized that in some eastern cultures (India and China) people practise most of these things. When I moved to USA people stero-typed me as 'Desi' because I never ate lunch outside and re-used grocery bags for garbage. We switched from sensible to consumers in an effort to 'Americanize'. Now I am switching back.Back in India I would get yelled at if I left the lights on when I leave a room. cant blame my dad as he made $200 a month and supported a family of 5. Now I am heating and cooling my 2000 sqft house including the bathrooms. What a waste....
  • jennynazak Jan 1, 2011 @ 1:22 am | delete
GiveInKind - Thanks for sharing your cultural perspective. Way to go, for switching back to being sensible! :)

Awsome lens. Here is another tip on how to save money. Start using skype for your communication service. This is cheap, and if you have a computer, you can stop paying the monthly fee for your phone bill.

Awsome lens! 5 stars. Recently I was visiting Europe and one country is very poor. BUt honestly everyone smokes. One tip on how to save money I learned from them. Plan your meals ahead and stick to it. There is less waste and it will cost you less to shop for the food as well. Also cook more at home, and eat less out.

Wow, what a great lens. I appreciate you taking the time to share such great tips. I was at the dealership on yesterday and spent a significant amount of money maintaining my vehicle and the cashier said I should have bought a new car instead of paying that amount. Our youth is miseducated. Our future does not have to be the same as our past.

This is my new all time favorite green lens! You've got fantastic tips here!

My favorite tip is using vinegar. My blood pressure actually goes up whenever I see an add for chemical cleaners that tries to convince me that my kids are covered with plague. And there might be as much bacteria on my table as my toilet seat, but my table doesn't have bum bacteria on it.
5 stars for this great lens! I'm going to feature it on my new Earth Hour lens!

Wow! I am so pleasantly surprised at the quality and value of this lens, not to mention extensive content that I will refer to again and again. This is one I will bookmark, fav, lensroll, and definitely ~ 5*'s!

The only thing I'm not crazy about is the color backgrounds, but that's a personal preference. I just find them distracting and a little hard on the eyes. :)

This is a great lens and it's made me feel good about myself because I'm already doing some of these things, now if I could persuade my hubby to ditch the cable and I investigate wind energy.....there's always something more to do, isn't there? Great job and I like how you've set this lens out as well.
