Have an iPhone 3G with a cracked glass? Mission Repair is your answer!
Our digitizers are OEM and once installed they look great. The key is installing them with the proper adhesives. DO NOT USE GLUE! Glues and epoxies have the ability to flow into the home button cavity. This will render the home button inoperable and they are very hard to find at this point! Using adhesives make the job mess-free and are guaranteed to NOT ruin your home button ;-) Thanks, just want to let everyone know that after thousands of repairs we are happy to report that our adhesives are working perfectly. Best, Ryan
The adhesives!
When installing a new digitizer, this is the key. . .
Ok, we've had laser-cut, custom sized adhesives made to make the iPhone 3G Glass/Digitzer Installation relatively easy. We like the fact that the adhesive strips are very clean and don't get the iPhone frame messy. I mean, it's already hazardous and tedious removing the broken glass from the unit, so once it's prepared the last thing you're going to want is to CAUSE more problems. If you use glue, it's messy. There's just no real good way around it. If you use the adhesive strips, it's a CLEAN process. We use a specially designed adhesive on our strips that start at 3M. We then have them converted to the custom size that you see in the picture- they are cut with *freaking laser beams for constant accuracy. My technicians are talk about them enough- they have shaved 15 minutes off each repair and we've been using them for months. Our customer testimonials say it all.
*Credit Dr. Evil for this term ;-)
The result!
Our adhesives make the glass sit flush, permanently!
So, once the frame is prepped and all of the old glass and glue are removed, the adhesive strips "grab" the replacement glass panel and hold it securely. We've been blogging about the process, and it's proven. It looks like a new phone again! Our Mission Repair link list. . .
