Welcome to 3rd and Bird!
3rd and Bird Episodes Teach about Communities
The 3rd and Bird episodes follow the adventures of baby lovebird Muffin, her big brother Samuel, and their friends and family in the 3rd and Bird "communitree" - Rudy, Mr Beakman, Missy, Quinn, the Lovebirds and Elliot the Worm.The episodes teach preschoolers about living in a community, that being different is good, and the importance of sharing, caring and valuing each other.
Created by Josh Selig for Little Airplane Productions, 3rd and Bird first aired on the CBeebies channel in the UK in July 2008, and so far two series have been made, totalling 51 episodes.

Fly Muffin!
Muffin wants Samuel to help her learn how to fly, and is crushed when Mr Beakman tells her she is too young to be able to do it yet. Can Samuel and Rudy think of a way to make her dream come true? -

Muffin wants to be in the play that Mr Beakman is putting together, but there is no part for her. How can she become part of the event? -

A Chorus for Us!
3rd and Bird are having a concert, so Muffin, Rudy and Samuel each make up a silly song to sing. -

Samuel and Rudy argue and fall out over what game to play. Can they learn how to play nicely together? -

Muffin Express!
Mr Beakman is building a train set, but no one can fit inside to drive the train. Can Muffin save the day? -

The Rudy Show!
Rudy is putting on a special show and wants everyone to watch, but disaster strikes when a tree branch falls and crushes the stage. How can the show go ahead now? -

Super Slide!
Mrs Lovebird is too busy to take Muffin, Samuel and Rudy to the super slide, so they try to make one of their own in the 3rd and Bird tree. -

3rd and Bird is holding a costume party. Samuel wants to go as an apple tree, but what can he do when Muffin eats his apple? -

Meet Elliot!
Muffin meets Samuel and Rudy's friend Elliot the worm, but doesn't like him because he is different to them. She learns that it is okay to be different and be friends with all kinds of animals! -

Pogo Nest!
Quinn builds a pogo nest that only fits one bird, but with Muffin, Samuel and Rudy all wanting a go, things can only go badly! -

Samuel's Dance!
Everyone is getting ready for the big dance party, but Samuel is worried because he can't dance. Can he find a rhythm that works in time? -

Rolling Along!
Mr Lovebird puts Samuel and Rudy in charge of watching Muffin as she plays in her toy cart, but they lose concentration and Muffin is soon rolling away all over 3rd and Bird - can they catch up with her before she has an accident?

Perfect Picnic!
Samuel, Muffin and Rudy go on a picnic, but things become awkward when Samuel keeps insisting that everything be perfect, and Muffin doesn't bring enough food. -

Pie Fair!
Rudy, Samuel and Muffin help Quinn out by making pies for the pie fair with his pie-making machine. He warns them not to press the red button, but Rudy can't resist and the machine goes berserk! -

Muffin's Shop!
Muffin wants to play shop but has nothing to sell. Meanwhile, the others start wondering where all of their belongings keep disappearing to... -

Dinosaur!
Muffin really wants to see a dinosaur and is upset when she learns they don't exist any more, so Rudy and Samuel create a surprise for her. -

Go Camping!
Mr Beakman takes Rudy and Samuel on a camping trip as part of their Budgies group. Muffin wants to go too, but when the camping begins, she gets scared and homesick. -

After watching a cowboy movie, Muffin wants to be a cowgirl, She's got the hat and the boots, but where can she find a horse on 3rd and Bird? -

Muffin falls in love with a plant and wants to look after it on 3rd and Bird, but it smells so awful that nobody will let her keep it in the tree. -

Baby Jordan!
Muffin gets jealous when Mr Beakman's nephew comes to visit and gets all the attention. -

A Very Squooky Christmas!
This special extended Christmas episode sees Muffin and the community trying to help a lost baby mouse find his way home to his family in time for Christmas morning.

Mr Beakman organises a rescue expedition down on the ground when Muffin drops her favourite toy, Chloe, out of the tree. -

Samuel and Rudy take Quinn's bike on a road trip, but get lost and can't find their way home. -
