The 4-Hour Workweek: Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere, and Join the New Rich
I just concluded reading Timothy Ferriss' "The Four Hour Workweek" and I'm so glad to have found a business books who's vision mirrors my own.
While I am not working just 4 hours per week, I am in a growth phase; launching new products, developing sites, etc. I am choosing to get this new stuff out there and to spend a bit more time working.
Were I to eliminate all that and just do the bare minimum, I could probably get away with about 8 hours/week.
"The Four Hour Workweek" has encouraged me to not only automate and outsource even more of my ongoing work, but also the new development stuff I'm doing too.
It gave me several ideas on tasks I *could* be outsourcing but am not, as well as confirmation that outsourcing and working less doesn't necessarily mean I don't deserve the money I'm making.
While the book is full of specific tricks, tactics and step-by-step plans to help you on your way to living as "New Rich," I found the mindset to be the most valuable asset for me (as a kick in the pants!).
I highly recommend this book to anyone tired of being tied down by any kind of responsibilites (work or personal) that they want to let go of and aren't quite sure how.

- A 4 hour work week sounds great. I have 3 kids so getting some sleep once in a while sounds nice and maybe even possible with a four hour work week.
Thanks.
