40 Minute Bible Studies

These studies are designed for people with limited time to study and are therefore ideal, for example, for a lunch group at work, an early morning men's group, a young mothers' group meeting in a home, a Sunday school class, family devotions, and of course personal Bible study.

Because each study is self-contained (Scripture is included) it's a perfect Bible study to take with you when you travel or find yourself waiting in doctor's offices, waiting to pick up the children, or commuting by bus or train.

They are also ideal for use in small groups that typically have longer meeting times - such as evening groups or Saturday morning groups - but want to devote only a portion of their time together to actually study, while reserving the rest for prayer, fellowship or other activities.

Each 40 Minute title contains 6 separate lessons.

Each of these lessons begins with a brief paragraph that explains what general topic will be studied during that lesson.

Following this are helpful "observe" notes that direct small group members or individual studiers into marking the biblical text found in the columns of the session.

After marking the text in accordance with the "Observe" notes readers will then find "Discussion" notes that can be used in personal Bible study and small group settings to highlight findings while marking the biblical text.

Each lesson also contains "Insight" boxes that provide historical, biblical, and factual information that can enhance the study for students.

Finally each lesson concludes with the "Wrap It Up" section that reviews the information that was studied and discussed in the corresponding session to help students gain an overall understanding of the topic being discussed.
