The Poppy Mountain Bluegrass Festival

Poppy Mountain is located on U.S. 60 East just outside Morehead right up the road from DeHart's Tire & Bible. The Poppy Mountain Bluegrass Festival is certainly among the biggest bluegrass festivals in the entire area.

Camping sites with free electric/water hookups are available on a limited basis. Golf carts and ATVs welcome.

The festival kicks off in the 3rd week of September but camping opens up at the first of the month. That means there's a lot of fun times and music being shared even before the festival officially starts.
