40th Birthday Present Idea

It's quite hard work but you start the experience with a wine tasting.

You taste wines from around the globe, Reds, Whites, Rose, we even have a strawberry and peach wine.

From the tasting (eventually), you decide what wine you would like to make.

...then the really fun bit, you then get to ....

We give you the juice and all the ingredients, then take you step by step (amidst the photo calls) through the making of your wine.

You learn all about what you're doing, why you're doing it and generally about how wine is made and has been made for centuries.

When you have finished the making, you leave your juice with us at Grapeinventions for about 6 to 8 weeks.

During this time we nurture it, tend to it, sing to it, and generally make sure that your juice is in the best environment to happily ferment int a fine young wine.

When your wine is ready, (between 6 and eight weeks), we invite you back again.

This time we give you your batch of wine and provide you with a bottling machine and a corking machine. We get you to bottle and cork your very own chateau! How great is that!

The Piece De Resistance (icing on the cake) is that you get to design your own label to proudly dress your wine with.

You give us the ideas, which can be pictures, photo's or just suggestions and we work with you to create the perfect outfit for your finished wine.
