- Dr Mani just asked me to review his new book, 47 Hearts as a favor.
Believe me, it was no favor, it was a privilege.
I've known Mani for a long time. In those early days he always talked about his dream of being able to help children with Congenital Heart Disease. Now he has made his dream come true - and 47 little children are alive today. Alive because one man dared to dream.
On one level, 47 Hearts is about Dr. Mani's dream and how he made it come true. But when you read it, you'll soon see that it is far more than that. It is the key to opening the door to all of our dreams: 47 steps to live by to achieve anything we want.

I'm a heart surgeon. I treat little children with congenital heart defects. Serious, life-threatening problems. They need treatment shortly after birth.
Without surgery, they will develop complications. Some may be fatal. But treatment is very expensive. Many families cannot afford it. My dream was to make it available to them.
That dream defined my medical career. I set out on a journey without a roadmap, fired only by belief in my dream. It was 1995.
Today, fourteen years later, I manage a non-profit, the Dr.Mani Children Heart Foundation. We have raised over $135,000 and funded 55 heart operations. All the kids are alive, thriving, happy.
My dream came true.
Your dream will too... if you believe in it strongly enough.
You can make your dream come true - by believing in it.
