We use the term 49cc broadly, when discussing gas pocket bike engines the same terms and details will likely apply to the other mini 47cc and 50cc two-stroke engines. All three engine sizes are really close in displacement, and they also share nearly identical parts. So keep that in mind.These little motors are certainly little engines that could. With horsepower ratings in the 3-5hp range and turnable RPM's exceeding 10,000 rpm, they make exceptional power in such a small package. They are also reliable, cheap, fast and provide a great foundation for building a pocket rocket.
You can purchase complete engines (47cc-50cc) for as little as $60 from Amazon or eBay. They're easy to replace or rebuid, including individual parts like the clutch and carburetor.
