    I enjoyed meeting your pups so very much! And within this wonderfully written lens are so many good tips for people contemplating getting a dog. It isn't always rosy but the loyalty and love rewards are so worth it. Sometimes we don't always have a super peachy day with our human kids either but we wouldn't think of sending them to a shelter or abandoning them.

    Love the video. I don't remember it from the last time I was here. So funny the way the little dachshund starts running as soon as the machine makes a certain sound.

    Your fur babies are all beautiful! I must confess. I assumed you named your beautiful lab Chewie because he had a "unbreakable" habit:) I think our lab was 2 years old before he finally stopped chewing the legs of the furniture or maybe it is because all of the missing legs had been replaced by wood blocks. Either way we love our dogs too. Angel Blessed and added to my Squid Angel Mouse Tracks lens

    I really loved this lens. You show such deep feelings in your writing. I hope that you go on to write many more lenses. We have 2 dogs. Had 3 but one died recently. sob! 5*s and fav.

    Really nice lens! I have a dog lens, Dog Training Works and talk a little about my 2 dogs on there. We also have a tortoise who is 19 years old.

    We're babysitting 2 puppies right now and it is work!!! We're thankful for the opportunity to 'try it out' first. We have 4 kids (3 under 5's) and might've considered a dog for them previously. Right now, its WAY too much work!! These may be extra tough because they're not potty trained, not spayed / neutered and have been in 4 homes this month so are stressed and having digestive problems. We'll be waiting a few years before even considering dogs! This is a great lens and I LOVE the fact that you advocate shelter dogs. These have always been my choice when I had pets. Fantastic lens - 5 stars!

    Great lens! We have a rescue greyhound and two cats, I cant imagine life without them and I am sure we would have more if we had the space.

    I love love love your lens. It just makes me cry not to be able to give every needy dog a home. I restrain myself not to go to those places because it is not sensible for me to have more pets at this time. But when the time comes, an animal rescue or shelter is the only place I will go. Great lens.

    I've had four dogs from the animal shelter... they seem to have so much love to give. love the pics of your babies :)

    That is adorable and you are not nuts - I have 9 pets - 3 dogs and 6 cats and I have room in my heart for more, BUT at the moment I am done. My family thinks I am nuts too - honestly it keeps some away - so for me that works too - lol,

    I had dogs growing up, but now we have hermit crabs. This is a very good lens. I love all the pics. Welcome to Squidoo, if you need anything I'll, do my best to help. Oh, and I love your profile pic too!

    Lots of dogs come to those pet stores from puppy mills -- very sad. ...A home without a dog is just not the same. :)

    We have dogs too and each day when I get home, even on the worst of days......I am glad to see them and they are always glad to see me!!!!
