Time to Learn!!
You don't have to be a professional musician to enjoy learning to play the piano. Whether you've never tried playing the piano or you've played the piano some and never mastered it, learning to play the piano can be a simple and enjoyable process. Here are the basic steps to learning the piano..
The piano is considered by most as the ultimate personal instrument because with it a single person can create beautiful harmonies to match any mood or feeling. This is why nearly all professional musicians, no matter what their specialty, have spent a great deal of time learning to play the piano well. But you don't have to be a professional musician to enjoy learning to play the piano. Whether you've never tried playing the piano or you've played the piano some and never mastered it, learning to play the piano can be a simple and enjoyable process. But, it does take time and patience. Here are the basic steps to learning the piano:
STEP 1
Get access to a piano or synthesizer. This may sound silly, but some people actually think they can learn to play the piano by listening to music or reading a book. You have to have access to a piano to truly begin learning to play the piano.
STEP 2
Take piano lessons. Piano lessons can come in many different forms. The more forms you combine the more complete your learning experience will be. If you're totally dedicated to learning to play the piano then schedule piano lessons with a piano teacher, buy several beginning piano books, buy instructional CDs and DVDs, sign up for online piano learning classes, and find any other instructional piano helpers you can get. The more you combine and study thoroughly the quicker and more complete your learning will be.
STEP 3
Take advice from experts. Concentrate on the areas of learning they recommend. Your books and your teachers may take different approaches to things, but they all know more about playing the piano than you do. Do whatever they tell you to do for each of their respective lessons.
STEP 4
Make practicing the piano a priority. No matter how much you study or take classes, unless you find at least 10 minutes per day to practice, you will not improve. You should begin your practice with the warm ups at least four times per week.
STEP 5
Learn the music one measure at a time. You won't be sitting down and playing any advanced music pieces from start to finish on first try until you've spent hundreds of hours practicing the piano. In the mean time learning to play the piano music will always involve patiently going through it one piece at a time. When you can play the whole musical composition, move on to your next piece of music. Go back over the ones you've already learned at least once per month in order to retain what you've learned.

:: Top Digital Piano Brands

It's always exciting buying the first digital piano, whether you are planning to become a great artist or just want to have some fun and good time playing music. This guide is about some of the most popular brands of digital pianos in the market today.
For most budding artists, they own more than just one electric piano, and quite often, a few more electronic keyboards. But if you are just out shopping for your first hand musical instrument and are interested in piano, it can be quite a challenge.
I have been in that position myself back few years ago. But man wasn't it just time consuming and nearly impossible for a newbie like myself to figure out which of the brands out there were the best digital pianos to buy?
If you have done some research, you'll definitely find that the most popular in the market today is Yamaha. Then there are Roland, Kawai, Kurzweil, KORG, Technics, Casio, Suzuki and some others.
The list I just described is just the beginning, there are about dozen more, but for the sake of this review, we will concentrate only on few of the most popular ones.
Most Popular From SUZUKI
:: Most Famous from YAMAHA

Kurzweil - though these guys do sell digital pianos, their best lines are the Kurzweil keyboards, which come in very affordable and yet feature rich piano players
:: Most Famous from KURZWEIL

Roland, on the other hand has been more concentrating on their upright pianos and also entered the digital piano productions, but not very long ago. They make good sounding pianos, almost like the acoustic authentic rhythms you would get from baby grand pianos. But Roland's touch is a bit unrealistic - it just doesn't feel exactly like wooden keys from grand pianos.

Casio offers the lowest price range you could get for any kind of digital piano and electronic keyboards. They are simply the easiest to play and learn music on. For any beginner student, Casio is the excellent choice if your budget is not big and you want to get the taste of playing on electric piano.
:: Most Famous from CASIO

The last one in our list is Suzuki. This famous brand of digital piano is well known across schools around the world. They have some of the best educational systems and software to come along with the purchase of Suzuki pianos. It's a great choice for school teachers, as well as learning students or junior grade kids. They also support full learning software programs you can download online - so it will be very convenient to learn music even if you are at home.
:: Tips to Play Piano
Kawai is one of the oldest brands of digital pianos in the market. This Japanese company only does one thing - make and build pianos. So in some sense, they are considered the experts in the piano making industry. In addition, Kawai makes use of the best quality material, and everything they build is guaranteed to last for a very long time to come, just as you would expect from goods made in Japan.
:: KAWAI

KORG is simply a brand of choice for professional stage performers, because they offer the most advanced digital software, sound mixing and a huge list of effects, from guitar, organs, to percussions, drums and lots of others. I wouldn't recommend this for entry level enthusiasts, because KORGs are quite expensive and have too many things a beginner wouldn't know how to use.
:: Most Famous from KORG
Technics come in one of the smallest sizes and are great if you know you will be moving the piano around more than once. They do try to imitate the sound of acoustic pianos, but it's still a far cry from the real thing.
