Easter eggs to make from fabric and lace

Retro Mama: Easter is in the air
This is a free tutorial for the gorgeous fabric eggs pictured above. I love Retro Mama's use of color to make these quilting cotton eggs really stand out.

Check out the rest of her fantastic blog for all the retro chic goodness as well, her writing is fantastic and all of her tutorials are outstanding.
I love to Craft's Lace Eggs
Get some Victorian goodness going on with these gorgeous (no sew) stiffened lace eggs from Ilovetocraft.

The instructions call for cotton lace (nylon doesn't work according to the tutorial) so I'm thinking this is the perfect way to use up some of those vintage doilies that I keep collecting.

Easter chicks only make things better

Living on the Crafty Side of Life: Pom Pom Chicks
Craft blogger Fiona Carter had an 8 day egg-stravaganza for Easter in 2009, all of which are worth checking out-- but the pom pom chicks are too adorable to pass up.
Whipup's easter tutorial: Chickummyjig
This humorous chick requires sewing (don't worry-- there's a pattern and full instructions) and it's so adorable I want a hen house full!

Where's the rabbit?

PurlBee: Molly's sketchbook bunny finger puppets
Right here! These adorable finger puppets look downright addicting and would make super cute pencil toppers

I love the material eggs. I'm crafty, but not that crafty. Very cute lens.

Not bad - wouldn't mind seeing some more on the lens itself, though! :)

Thanks Josh, I'll definitely add more.
