- My Uncle has a Laptop Fan and He Swears by it, so far it keeps his Laptop from Turning Off when he doesn't want it to! ;)

- I am always concerned the "canned air" will damage the machine if I spray the vents. I have used a tiny vacuum cleaner and I elevate my laptop with a small strip of wood when it's on my desk. I do, also, shut it down when I'm not using it. Good tips for keeping a cool laptop.

- I don't know why I didn't think of using dust removal spray before. I have some cans of "air" (diflouroethane), but I'd be worried that that might damage the computer. The fans on my laptop cooling stand recently stopped working, so I need to find ways to keep it from overheating.
