Weird Goals in Soccer That Leave You Baffled

We've all heard of the "Hand of God" by Diego Maradona back in the finals for the FIFA World Cup of 1986 which is definitely the most infamous but hardly the only weird goal in world soccer today. With wide coverage of live fodbold matches around the world there is an abundance and here you'll find just a few of my own favorites.

#5 Huh?!..I Scored!

Bad Ricochet Effect!

Tomas Brolin maybe known in the 90's for many great goals but in 1995 he took credit for one of the weirdest goals ever.

#4 Where's the ball?

Weirdest own goal by goal keeper

In an Anderlecht Vs. Roeselare match in the Belgian Pro League, the goalkeeper loses sight of the ball with dire consequences. Weird Goal? Not sure but definitely strange

#3 Fate?

Defender tries to clear ball ricochets off striker

Goal scored by Adam Czerkas (or can be considered as one) in the Polish League. Wonder if Adam would have been able to score from that distance on purpose. We bet Adam never thought he would find himself in the list of weird goals

#2 He stopped it!!!...wait...no he didn't!

Goal keeper stops the goal but...

In the journey to find the weirdest goals posted by YouTube users, on the other side of the world, a penalty kick is stopped by the goal keeper but the ball has a mind of its own. Click on the video to see what happens.

#1 Hide & Seek

Striker hides behind the goal keeper

Intent at following his players, goal keeper Niel Cutler, loses track of the striker actually hiding behind him! Never found out if this goal was allowed but certainly is the weirdest of weird goals
