Connect your website, blog, photo, tweet, article, video and more to the designer QR Code campaign. This giant QR code project had the potential to connect over a million websites into one image-a QR code. It was close to an impossible idea, so it deserved a big name: A 50 Million Dollar QR Code.

The initial concept of building a giant qr code out of logos and identity images was intriguing to me and sparked interest from a host of small and medium sized businesses. After a few months into the project a major issue began to surface. Organizations and their branding efforts are naturally competitive and it was difficult to place certain logos next to one another.

As a designer and artist it was defeating to try and forge identity through a 2D feature that graphically is anonymous. I didn't want to abandon the idea of creating something out of the QR's and I did not want to decorate the codes per se so this is what I've come up with.

It is called 'uncopyrightable'. A single code is still anonymous but when you mash them together something else happens. I've gradually turned the project into a series of paintings on canvas but they are more than works of art.

How many flags have you seen like this? We came up with a new style of image to connect to and it has a QR Code in it. Website owners, bloggers, artists, aspiring artists, organizations, inventors and anyone that makes things in America are welcome to connect to this image-logo.

1. Open & Easy
Your site will be linked to a QR code that is free to access with your mobile camera phone by using a variety of 'open source' QR Code scanning applications.

2. Mobile Ready
Your site/webpage/blog/social networking page will be converted for viewing on a mobile phone and linked to the QR Code as soon as you own a bit of the code.

3. Promotional Value
Sites and pages linked to the code will be promoted both online and offline in newsletters, press releases, printed publications, posters, banners, and events. Some of the biggest and most well known brands are using QR Codes in their marketing campaigns. Perhaps you are a small business owner looking for leadership on how to use these QR Codes. Shortly after earning an MA in Design & Branding Strategy, I began designing mobile branding concepts and marketing QR Codes on a site I built called Seed Codes. At that time, I was taking innovative 360 degree photos, tagging and mapping places in London . This lead to a number of experimental projects which I applied to the education sector. If you were to ask someone in 2005 what a QR Code was you might have received a variety of strange looks.

Before arriving to London, I worked as a digital print/packaging specialist developing all sorts of prototypes for major brands selling Fast Consumable Goods. One of the biggest projects that I worked on was for Pepsi (FunWraps Factory). It was a first in mass personalization for a consumable goods product purchased online. During that time, I also helped my group win an honorable mention for the 'Benjamin Franklin' award known as the 'Oscar' in the printing industry for best direct marketing campaign.
