For most kids, summer means a break from school and plenty of summer days awaiting to be filled with fun ideas. Using some of your newly acquired free time to volunteer in your community will leave you feeling good inside and will leave a good impression on others.     I love the idea of getting kids and teens involved in volunteer activities and with summer vacation coming, they will have plenty of time for volunteer opportunities that may even lead to future life goals.

    Yes, we volunteer at our church, on several NFP boards, taking mission trips around the US through www.cityconnexx.org and in Mexico with Heart for Missions. My wife is volunteer medical director for Alternative Pregnancy Center in Denver. Love your site and that's what we do at CityConnexx, take kids of mission trips to volunteer in urban and Native American at risk communities.
