A look inside

Do #28

DO 28:
Write down thoughts, facts and issues-make lists, prioritize and check off

Why? You will remember information more easily, stay focused on what's important and save time in the long run; your teammates will also trust you to follow through.

What's the DO attitude? Commit to organize: by time, by project, by topic or by people. Decide what best fits your work flow. Be prepared to experiment and change until you find what works for you.

Why is this hard to DO? Writing things down takes time. Most people think they'll remember more than they actually do.

What's the DO reward? You'll increase your IQ! Because important details are written down, you can use your brain power to solve problems and innovate. You will have a record of your work to reference for future promotions.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Success with DO 28 is the foundation for achieving the 49 other DOs!

CAUTION! Unorganized notes will create clutter, confusion and
mayhem! Ask yourself two questions:

How do I make the information easily accessible?
How do I organize the information so it's quickly searchable?
