I can´t even remember when I started my first lens, but it has been quite a while ago. During all that time, I have made well over 100 lenses. Some were excellent, some really hit it well with google and are making me consistent income, while others really never should have started, got deleted, forgotten or just did not rock my boat.
To be honest, I started too many lenses, to keep an active eye on, so I have decided that time has come to actually sell a few of them, which is the reason I have created this lens. You will find a whole list of all different lenses, with some extra information so that you can decide whether or not the lens in question would be good for your lens collection.

How To Make Yummie Dry Dog Food PR2 Lens
Selling for $70
This lens is great to add to your dog lens portfolio, especially if you are looking for an aged dog lens with nice PR2 rankings. Although it might not seem like a big earner, it has brought in a few CB sales in the past and with a little TLC it has all potential to dive into Tier 2. All in all, more than enough to justify the $50 pricetag!

How To Buy a Squidoo Lens
If you are not the world´s greatest writer or just want to have a few lenses in your portfolio that are aged and already making money, then it can be easier sometimes to just buy them off of other lensmasters. Especially if you are want to use them for the promotion of your other webproperty or build on your branding, buying an already made Squidoo lens can be a real option.
So what do you need to do when buying a Squidoo Lens?
First of all, check out the lens you are planning to buy and get a valuation of the URL. Once you have made your mind up and want to buy the lens, contact the lensmaster and agree upon a price.
The most common procedure when it comes to buying and selling lenses, is that you first send payment to the lensmaster. Once the lensmaster receives the money, they are expected to transfer the lens to the email of your squidoo account.
You will get a notification from Squidoo, saying that you were sent a Squidoo lens and in that email you will find a link to accept the lens into your account.
All pretty straight forward and easy to do!

I started this lens in order to promote my freelance work as an BMR article writer. During the existence of this lens, I have received several writing gigs because of this lens, so if you are looking to work as a freelance writer yourself, this lens could certainly help you get started too. As you see, there is traffic, and while 200-300 visitors a month might not seem that much, they are 200-300 potential employers!
Apart from that, it is also a possible gateway to the BMR affiliate program, which pays 30% recurring commissions on all sales, so if you bring a new customer to the service, that means at least an extra $17 per month in your pocket!

Factors That Influence the Value of a Lens
How to decide what is a reasonable price for a lens
Let me start by saying that the real value of a lens can only be set when a lens actually got sold. By saying this, I mean that a lens could very well appear to only be worth $25 according to the squidutils valuation tool, but for the lensmaster be worth 10 times that money for all sorts of reasons, because of the traffic it is generating, the PR it is passing to other web property, the back end sales that it generates and commission of all sorts, so don´t go blind on the valuation tool alone.
Some factors to consider:
* Google PR
* Google SERP (where in the google search engine can you find the lens)
* Keywords the lens targets
* Amount of Unique content
* Past earnings
* Earning potential
* Amount of visitors
* Which Squidoo tier it is ranking in
