The truth about MLM

A lot of people within MLM are probably aware of the 98%+ failure rate within this industry and the purpose of this article is to cover the main reasons why they have failed so that hopefully you can use this information to put you on the path to success. THE TRUTH ABOUT MLM is that it is not the fault of the people who have failed that they have failed.

I am in a company called Mentoring for free, this company has been helping people to create success in home based businesses for 9 years. Within Mentoring for free there is a system with which to evaluate different business opportunities, this is called the 5 pillars system.

If you come into MLM you will only succeed if you joint he right company, for a very small minority of the population who know a million people, don't mind rejection and are natural salesman they can succeed in companies that the rest of us don't stand a chance in, this is THE TRUTH ABOUT MLM as it used to be done but there are better ways now and older ways of doing things no longer work as well. The rest of us will only succeed in the right opportunity and with the right system for prospecting.

When you join an MLM company you need to be asking the right questions; Is the product good and will it still be selling into the future. How many people do you need in your downline to reach your goals (average is 2800). Is the emphasis on product sales or recruit, recruit, recruit. What is the behavior within the company, is it heavily people orientated and relationship driven or not, is the focus on teamwork or solitary work. I would also strongly recommend you read the policies and procedures in particular the parts covering termination.
