- Psycho- 1 second of Marion Crane going into Bates Motel, 1 second of her talking to Norman Bates, 1 second of her getting stabbed, 1 second of Norman freaking out from the killing, 1 second of Norman dressed as mother (Sorry for the spoiler, but if you didn't know by now...)

- March of the penguins. How many close-ups of cute, freezing, starving penguins do we really need?

- Gosh, where do I start? LOL!!! I think most budget cuts at the major film studios are made in the editing department, or the directors are just too vain to believe their 'magnum opus' should be abbreviated.

- I would have to say, Poseidon (the original). One shot would be the wave and boat tipping over, next shot would be the ballroom where everyone dies and Gene and Co. escape, next shot would be Gene Hackman saving everyone, next shot would be the rescue! :-)
