How to Cut-out a 5 Pointed Star

Instructions 

One snip cutting technique

1. Fold an 8.5 inch by 10 inch piece of paper (or fabric) in half, producing an 8.5" by 5" surface.
2. Fold and then unfold the paper in half again, both horizontally and vertically. This will produce creased center lines. Be sure paper returns to the same as in step 1.
3. Fold the left (1) edge at the vertical center line, so that the tip meets the horizontal center line.
4. Fold the left tip (tip touching the horizontal line) back until it is even with the current outter left edge. Crease the fold down flat.
5. Fold the right edge (2) over the folded left edge, along the same flattend fold line.
6. Fold the right tip back, until it's edge is even with the folded edge. Fold flat.
7. With the right side vertical, cut the paper through at about a -30 degree angle, producing a small conicle piece.
8. Unfold the little piece of paper.
