How to build six pack abs is a frequently asked question by men and women. Of course, a toned, flat stomach and rippling six pack abs are a highly desirable feature of any body. However, when trying to achieve six pack abdominals the majority of people go about it in completely the wrong way.
People are continually fed misinformation and are led to believe that exercise (in particular doing hundreds of crunches and sit ups every day) is the key to getting six pack abs. While it is an important factor, just as important is maintaining a healthy diet and nutrition.
Everyone regardless of age, gender or size has a six pack albeit it is usually covered up by a layer of fat. Sensible nutrition is an essential aspect of achieving six pack abs because exercising the abs alone will not make them bigger it just gives them more definition therefore, nutrition is essential in order to reduce the layer of fat that lies over your abs.

*Eat plenty of protein.
*Cut out starchy white bread and use brown bread instead.
*Keep yourself hydrated by consuming plenty of water.
*Cut out alcohol.
*Try to eat up to 5 times a day this will boost your metabolic rate.
Six Pack Abs Workouts
The Most Effective Exercises For Your Abs
Lay on the floor with your lower back flat against the ground. Put your hands beside your head and bring your knees up to a 45 degree angle and slowly go through a bicycle pedal motion with your legs as if riding an imaginary bicycle. For a more thorough workout touch your left elbow to your right knee then your right elbow to your left knee. Breath evenly throughout the exercise.
Exercise Ball Crunches
Sit on the exercise ball with your feet flat on the floor. Let the ball roll back slowly and lie back until your thighs and torso are parallel with the floor. Contract your abdominals raising your torso to no more than 45 degrees. To work the oblique muscles by place your feet closer together thus making the exercise less stable.
Leg Raises
This is one of the few abs exercises that involves using gym equipment or a bar. Start with your body raised and legs dangling and slowly lift your knees up and in towards your chest. The motion should be slow, controlled and deliberate as you bring your knees up and return them back to the starting position.

- Love the lens. The three exercise workout you included was great, it takes people away from thinking just regular crunches will get you there. Adding variety to your workout is definitely key. I've found an even bigger variety of workouts here: quick six pack.
