Here's how you do the Bicycle correctly:
1. Lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet resting on the floor.
Instead of lacing your hands behind your head, rest your fingertips behind your ears on either side of your head.
2. Lift your knees towards your chest. Then use your ab muscles to help lift your shoulders off of the ground. This is your starting position.
3. Straighten your right leg so that it's at a 45-degree angle to the floor.
4. While you're straigtening your right leg, turn your upper body to the left and try to touch your left knee with your right elbow.
5. Return to the starting position (in step 2) then repeat on the other side, stretching out your left leg and trying to touch your right knee with your left elbow.
6. Do about 10 to 15 repetitions of this exercise.
Add the Bicycle to your exercise routine, and you'll be that much closer to having tight, 6-pack abs ASAP.
