6 Cuneo The Breakfast Bear and Friends

After stripping most of the fruit from one of the other campgrounds trees, momma bear and her two cubs, Albee and Baxter, decided to venture fruther into the forest. Very hungry and needing to feed her two cubs!

Momma bear has tried her best to teach Albee and Baxter, to stay close to her, for safety. But Baxter wants to explore the new world for himself.

They arrived at the horse campground, close to dark. Momma bear, can smell the apples and pears on the trees. She ventures down the tall, dry grass, with her two young ones close behind.

Finding a tree with plenty of apples and leaves, she tells the two young ones to climb up the tree. She orders them to stay up there, while she explores for danger.

There are plenty of apples, up in the tree for them to feast on. Also many branches to play on, to keep them busy and safe.

She wanders down to another tree. As she is standing up on her back legs, to reach some fruit, she notice Baxter down on the ground, rolling and playing.

She rushes back to him and starts lecturing him about the dangers. Baxter runs back up the tree and peers out, between the branches and leaves.

Momma bear thinks she has empressed the dangers to both of them. She wanders back to another tree. Continues to reach up for the fruits.

She looks back at her two cubs and this time, both Albee and Baxter are down on the ground playing. She noticed a number of 2 legged things approaching them. They had some kind of flashing things. This really terrifies her!

She races back to her cubs and all climb up the tree, quickly. They stay and watched those 2 legged things, closely.

Night finally came, making almost everything dark and quite. There were some campfires, here and there. A few road block things that had a glowing light. Also a road block in the middle of the campground, that had some lights.

She decided to keep away from those lights and venture down the road to some of the other apple trees, at the other end of the campground, under the blanket of darkness.

She found 2 pretty close together trees. They had stepping stones up to them. This would make a really nice place to sleep, she thought. Then early in the morning, they would have Breakfast In Bed!

They climbed up and found some sturdy branches for each to sleep, on and across.

Baxter had not ran out of all his energy, from the fruit he had eaten so late in the day. He wanted to bounce from branch to branch. Knocking the hard apples all over.

Momma bear, heard some noises that sounded closed. She tried to get Baxter to settle down and be quite.

Then 2 of those 2 legged things, were standing under their apple trees, with a big moon light.

Momma bear, decided to run down and hoped the 2 legged things would rather chase her.

She stopped a few yards away and noticed the 2 legged things had stopped right under their tree, where she had left Albee and Baxter! She hoped her cubs would not make a sound, but she could not take the chance!

She decided to confront the 2 legged things. Standing on both back legs, she started to walk toward them with roars coming from her mouth. She had to make herself look huge!

The 2 legged things started to scream and ran back into their road block, that was right under the tree, Albee and Baxter was in!

Momma bear ran back to her cubs to make sure they were alright and then brought them both down from the tree.

It was best, they go back into the thick woods for the night! There was just too much going on here.

So in the dark, they wondered back into the thick safety of the woods.

There would be another day and Breakfast In Bed is not all that it is cracked up to be, anyways!
