- No I have had my Imperial Black Kitchenaid Professional 500 mixer for about 8 years now and it is well out of warranty but I like the color so much I can not bring myself to paint it. I should have kept my 15 year old white Kitchenaid 5 quart mixer and painted it but I gave it to a friend who was just starting out as a pastry chef when I got this one and I doubt she will let me come over and paint it now. But maybe when she finally buy that 6 quart mixer she wants I can get it back and paint it any ideas how I should paint it?

- Chef,
Great article. I did no know that most recipes are created on Kitchen aid mixers. That makes so much sense though. Have you painted yours yet?
