7 Told By Cuneo and Friends
The next morning, mother bear knew exactly where she wanted to go! The trees had so many luscious smelling apples and pears. So off they went, right back to all the fruit trees and berry bushes in the campground they had discovered the night before.
She found a nice tree, that had another step underneath it. Up the tree they went and ate and ate.
Baxter, decided he wanted berries and the berry bushes were so close to the tree.
Down he went, and one by one Albee and momma bear joined him.
The 2 legged things kept a ways back. But momma bear still kept a guarded eye on them.
After Baxter got his filled of berries, he decided that the stepping stone, under the fruit tree, had some give and would be a good toy! He climbed up and started jumping up and down.
It could not compared to the bouncing on the tree limbs, but it was close.
A number of the 2 legged things, started yelling at him. Baxter stopped to see if they were yelling at something else. He looked around, maybe they were yelling at Albee or his mother. So he continued to jump up and down.
Now, the 2 legged things started to throw stones at him, and It Hurt!!
He yelled and mother bear came running up on the stepping stone.
More stones started to fly at them.
Mother bear knew it was time to leave and let these 2 legged things calm down.
So off they all scampered to the other end of the campground.
Then up in a tree, away from all the noises.
It was time to rest and watch. To make sure her cubs were safe.
Maybe a nap was earned also!

7 Camp Host Version
Bears love fruit. Even the smallest little tree, can hold a very large, heavy bear. When walking, we always looked for a tree that had moving leaves. The bears can disappear in them, very easily!
I have told many campers, "Do Not Park Under A Fruit Tree!"
The reason, they will use your vehicle as a stepping stone!
Since their claws do not contract, like a cat, they will tear your paint job up! Their weight will put big dents in them also! If you have air fresheners or smells in your vehicles, they really can do some real damages, trying to get to the smells.
I have gone to campers a number of times, that have parked under a fruit tree. Tried to explain, nicely, but it never sinks in to some people.
Now. Thanks To Them, I have this story to tell you!
