TV's Favorite Family

The show 7th Heaven is one of my favorites! It had an eleven season run from 1996-2007. Many TV stations have had it on rerun, and it is on DVD as well. Sometimes I wish it would keep going because I love it so much, but I am also happy the way it ended. I hope you like this show as well; if you don't, I hope you do at the end of this page!

Why I Love It

A Summary

I love this family Christian television show! The Camdens show it's not easy being a preacher's family, but they still have time for praying to and following God in every situation. Besides that pressure, they have or are involved with real-to-life everyday problems. Sometimes at the end of an episode, there is a post of something you can do to help out a very worthy cause that had been featured. 7th Heaven is a great show where you feel like you are growing up with and are a part of this large family, at least that is how I feel!

In the series, there were a lot of relationships that all the kids had (except for Sam & David). I always thought that Simon had intersting girlfriends. I would say two of his most known GFs were Deena and Cecilia (And Rose Too. But she was not one of my favorites.)

Mackenzie Rosman's Sister

Cystic Fibrosis

Mackenzie Rosman (who played Ruthie Camden) is a supporter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Her step-sister, Katelyn Salmont, was born with CF. Miss Salmont received a double-lung transplant in 2005, but died on December 25, 2008, due to pneumonia. 7th Heaven did a special episode in 2003 ("Back in the Saddle"), and in 2005 (after transplant), giving the viewers a chance to learn about CF.
