Liono, with Cheetara, Panthro, Tygra, Wilykit, Wilykat and Snarf, crash landed on a planet that they named 3rd Earth where they encountered an enemy from there home world... Ssslithe who had his minions, and the threat of the evil Mummra.

He-Man is a fictional heroic character featured in the Masters of the Universe media franchise. In most variations he is the alter ego of Prince Adam and also the twin brother of She-Ra. He-Man and his friends defend Eternia and the secrets of Castle Grayskull from the evil forces of Skeletor.

She-Ra, the Princess of Power, was a spin-off series from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. She was his long lost twin sister, captured by the Horde as a baby, and rescued by He-Man much later. Her real identity is Princes Adora, and as She-Ra she holds the Sword of Protection, and has a companion in the form of a flying horse, Swiftwind (Spirit).

Danger Mouse is a British animated television series which was produced by Cosgrove Hall Films for Thames Television. It features the eponymous Danger Mouse, an English mouse who works as a superhero/secret agent. The show is a loose parody of British spy fiction, particularly James Bond and the Danger Man series starring Patrick McGoohan. The show originally ran in the United Kingdom from 1981 to 1992. In the English-language version, the titular hero was voiced by David Jason.

Originally screened in the UK on the BBC in 1985, from the infamous Broom Cupboard, Dogtanian was and still is a firm favourite with everyone who grew up in the 80s. The cartoon originated in Spain in 1981, but was made in Japan by Nippon Animation. The story follows young Dogtanian on his quest to become a Muskateer! Created by Claudio Biern Boyd Series' produced by B.R.B International S.A. (who were also later responsible for Around the World with Willy Fog).

Other friends included Raplh and Melissa (writers of the Evergreen newspaper), Little Bentley, Lisa, Scheffer, Sophie and Broo. Cyril Sneer was the evil cigar smoking baddie (and was one of those strange pink long nosed creatures..)

Each teenage was given a special ring, with the forces of Earth, Fire, Wind, Water and Heart. When challenges become too tough for the youngsters, they combine the powers of all 5 rings to summon Captain Planet!

The Care Bears are a set of characters created by American Greetings in 1981 for use on greeting cards. The original artwork for the cards was painted by artist Elena Kucharik. In 1983, Kenner took the characters and made the first in a line of very succesful teddy bears based of the Care Bears. Over 40 million units were sold between 1983 and 1987. Each Care Bear comes in a different color and with a specialized insignia on its belly: for example, "Bedtime Bear" is pastel blue and sports a sleepy-looking anthropromorphised crescent moon, and "Cheer Bear" is pink with a rainbow insignia. A spin-off collection toys, the Care Bear Cousins, feature stuffed monkeys, lions, and other such animals in the same style as the teddy bears. The Care Bears television series ran from 1985 to 1988; three animated feature film spinoffs, The Care Bears Movie (1985), The Care Bears Movie II: A New Generation (1986), and The Care Bears Adventure in Wonderland (1987) followed.

Scottish animated series featuring a family of nessies, each named after a particularly obvious personality. Names such as Ferociousness, Heavyness, Sillyness, Lovelyness, Pirateness, Sportyness, Babyness and Eagerness. The 2 human kids were called Elspeth & Angus, and their father, Mr McTout.

The little plasticine creature Morph was once the companion of artist Tony Hart on TV, and then became a star in his own right. His friends are the two girls Folly and Delilah, Gillespie the gentle giant, Nailbrush (who thinks he's a dog - very cute!), Chas, and the helpful 'very small creatures'. Each episode lasts roughly 4 minutes.
