Jon Williams Photography: Why My Profile Photo Looks Good

Ranked #10,036 in Arts & Design, #180,113 overall

Portrait Photography in Ogden, Utah

Last Christmas, we needed a family portrait for grandma, stat. We went to miracle-working photographer Jon Williams of Ogden, Utah.

The family portrait was a hit. He also managed to make me look great, despite a screwed-up eye and a lousy complexion. At left is my professional portrait made by Jon Williams.

A professional photographer for over 30 years, Jon also teaches basic to advanced photography seminars. Here's his photography class list.

Disclaimer: Jon did not solicit me to write a page about him, only that I credit him when using this photo (licensed from him for web use). I did this write-up to explain to my Squidoo friends why my profile photo now looks fantastic instead of frumpy. Also, articles published on Squidoo earn a me a few pennies. I write on things I like.

How I Look WITHOUT A Professional Portrait

Snapshot By My Aunt Last Year

This is a fairly good photo of me. However, thanks to various health issues, I've got a droopy left eye and the skin tones of a zombie. It's obvious in any close-up, except when a pro takes care of those blemishes with a little dab of Photoshop and a lot of skill with good lighting:
