Tipi says:
Well, actually I spent about 90 minutes in heaven myself. Haven't read the book, guess I don't need to having first hand experience on that. I didn't want to come back, but I knew I had to.

Yes. I know I am going to heaven when I die and it is wonderful to read more about what is waiting for me!

OhMe says:
His description of Heaven was pretty much what I have thought it to be like with overwhelming love, lots of music and angels. I did find it interesting that he said once he was there, he did not think about his life of earth.

Give me a break!
eccles1 says:
I found out recently that unless we start reading and learning about the spiritual basics we stay skeptical and it's a living hell in our mind..it's not that we don't know that hurts us because we all start without knowing, that is why a man once said 'Seek and you shall find' but what hurts us is the fact we refuse to read and find out on our own if something is true or not this takes a personal investagation starting with reading

I have not read this book and want to believe what he says will happen when we cross, BUT a part of me really wonders if what he saw was true or what he wants to believe he saw. Could it have all been a way of promotion and writing a book? Who knows, but I am still skeptical.

"Heaven Is Real" by Don Piper - He's been to heaven!

'Heaven Is Real' is Don Piper's second book. His first book, '90 Minutes in Heaven', tells the story of his terrible car accident on January 18, 1989. Don was pronounced dead as he still lay in his car. He was in heaven for 90 minutes, then woke to f...
What A Friend We Have In Jesus
Tennessee Ernie Ford and Odetta
This was the song that Don started singing with his friend when he returned to life. Don's friend, also a minister, had been praying and singing and doing this because he felt called to be there trying to help Don even after he had been pronounced dead.
Thank you for visiting this lens about Don Piper's book, 90 Minutes In Heaven
I realize that not everyone will enjoy this book or believe Don's story but personally I found it to be very comforting. I enjoyed reading his description of Heaven as he described an overwhelming feeling of LOVE. He writes about the music in Heaven and that there were only songs of Praise. Immediately, one of my favorite Sunday School Songs, Praise Him, came to mind.

- Definitely a book that I will add to my reading list. Nicely presented. How about we add an Angel Blessing to the page?

- This is a very interesting lens. I am a skeptic and a believer at the same time I guess. Maybe this was his heaven but everyone will not see the same thing when they die. I would consider reading the book but I don't know if I would fully believe it. Thanks for a great lens 5* from me.

- I have not read this book but I have read other books with the same experiences.
Jesus said the kingdom of heaven is within ..so it makes sense to me that these experiences could very well be true because of the near 'death' state !!
Keep up the great work.. you make us think !!
