Kogi BBQ
Get your fusion on!
Have you ever wondered what the fusion of Korean food and Mexican food would be like. No? Well you should have. Kogi BBQ is a perfect combo of both cultures and will have you thinking: Why didn't I think of that?
Their menu includes Spicy Pork Tacos, Kimchi Quesadillas and Short Rib Burritos. Everything tastes like it came from heaven and at very reasonable prices. If you are anywhere near LA, the KOGI truck is a must find

The Grilled Cheese Truck
"Inspiration happens when you least expect it! What started as a fun, weekend activity to enter our Cheesy Mac and Rib Melt into LA's 7th Annual Grilled Cheese Invitational quickly became the idea behind The Grilled Cheese Truck. After seeing the masses of grilled cheese fanatics gathered to pay homage to our favorite childhood (and adult!) comfort food, we realized that this world needed more grilled cheese sandwiches brought to the streets. Not just the classic bread, butter and cheese, but amazing creations that are constructed with the best ingredients, local produce and made with nothing but love.
We look forward to making your hearts melt with all of our cheesy goodness."

Gourmet Food Trucks - Just another reason for people to be jealous of L.A.
Baby's Badass Burgers
Doubly Delicious!
Baby's Badass Burgers"Baby's Badass Burgers sprang from the imaginations and experiences of ex-New Yorker restaurateur Erica Cohen (pictured right) and celebrated event planner Lori Barbera (pictured left). Cohen launched her career in the restaurant world as one of the founding partners in the first of The ONE Group's many restaurants. Cohen, a passionate foodie and burgermeister at heart who had "been searching for the perfect, quintessential cheeseburger since [she] was a little girl," decided that in order to satiate her quest she would have to create her own flawless burger: the Simple Original Beauty on the BBB menu.
So the next time you see a glimpse of a hot pink flash rolling by you (or get a Twitter update) - it just might be Baby's Badass Burgers coming to a street near you."

Coolhaus
Ice cream sandwiches!
Remember when you were a kid and you heard the ice cream truck coming down your street? It would be playing it's jingle, your mouth would water a bit, you would beg your mom for a buck, and then you ran out the door like a bat out of hell. All that for an ice cream sandwich.Well, Coolhaus is waaaaayyy better than that ice cream truck you used to run after.
"With what little savings they had from their other jobs, Natasha and Freya purchased a postal van which they converted into an ice cream truck with the idea of selling the architecturally-themed ice cream sandwiches from it. Coolhaus, the first project by Farchitecture, was born, and ever since then, Coolhaus has been bringing gourmet, artisan and all-natural ice cream sandwiches in customizable edible wrappers to Los Angelenos with plans of expanding nationwide. Lardon Truck
Powered by Bacon
Who doesn't like bacon? It really does makes everything a little more delicious. And thankfully the Lardon Truck has added bacon to almost everything.Breakfast (duh), lunch, and dinner are on the menu. Oh and desert, that's right, desert.
You can get the standard food items that breakfast usually offers (egg sandwich, pancakes, burrito) or try the brioche french toast sandwich if you are feeling a little frisky. Lunch and dinner bring with it chicken wings, Frisee au lardon sandwich, and "the lardon" sandwich.
And everything on the menu either comes with bacon,, is covered in a bacon sauce (or syrup), or a combination of both.
BTW - Don't forget to try the brownies with bacon Nutella Spread. Yummy!

- I'm envious! We have some pretty crappy food trucks in Massachusetts. They can't compare to the ones in Los Angeles. There's a handful of good ones, but they aren't as plentiful as in LA. Squid Angel blessed!
