Named after William Woollett, Jr., this complex provides the means for all swimmers including those with disabilities. They provide swimmng lessons all year round for people of all ages. They are also the home pool for schools in the region such as Woodbridge High School and Irvine High School.
William Woollett, Jr. worked as the first employee and city manager in the brand new city in January 1972. He provided his services to this city until 1989. He was also the city's first police chief.
Irvine Fine Arts Center
This Fine Arts Center was created in 1980 with the sole purpose of creating public awareness of the importance of arts in their culture. They feed the artistic needs of this society by providing classes at different level of expertise in fields including painting, artwork, ceramics, photography, jewelry making, culinary arts, pottery and many more. Heritage Park Community CenterThis center operates with the aim of providing creative programs, wonderful services and provides all their residents with a taste of their diverse cultural backgrounds within the Irvine Community. They offer programs that cater to toddlers, children, teenagers and adults. They also hold camp sessions that caters to particular needs. This community center also offers an after school program.
Irvine Heritage Park Library
Heritage Park in Irvine is also in close proximity to the Heritage Park, Library. This library is a wonderful resource to both children and adults. With their wide range of books and quiet environment, this library is a great place to be for all visitors. This library also offers programs such as story time for toddlers and children and monthly craft programs for children through the 6th grade. They also encourage children to display their reading skills through their READING TO ROVER program. This library also offers Korean story time sessions.
They also have a mother-daugther book club that meets monthly and hold Family Night programs on a monthly basis as well. They also have the Teen Anime Club for teenagers to join and enjoy.
