Circus Circus
3 Stars - Rates starting at $82
Located in the northern section of the strip, Circus Circus has been a family favorite for years. At 1,149 feet, the Stratosphere Tower is the tallest observation tower in the United States. The view from the 109th-floor deck is truly spectacular. 3 Stars - Rates starting at $99
You can't miss the Riviera as you drive down the Strip with its glass-lit exterior. Its location at the north end of Las Vegas Boulevard bridges the classic style of downtown Vegas with the modern-day mega resorts further south.The Riviera is one of the reasons why Las Vegas has been dubbed "The Entertainment Capital Of The World." Be careful what you ask for. It's temping to ask for a room with a view of the Strip. However, keep in mind you are in the "city that never sleeps". If you want to request a room, make sure you specify a quiet location.
Excalibur
3 Stars - Rates starting at $121
At the Excalibur Hotel in Las Vegas, guests are treated like royalty. Located at the south end of the strip, the Excalibur is surrounded by The Luxor, New York-New York, Mandalay Bay, and MGM Grand. Just step out the door and spend the afternoon exploring your neighbors.Original stained glass panels depicting scenes from medieval times colorfully decorate the roof above the casino floor. The Lounge features live entertainment seven nights a week. The 145-seat race and sports book drips in comfort with extra-wide, cushioned chairs and a full bar just steps away.
Upstairs, guests will find The Steakhouse at Camelot, Regale and the Roundtable Buffet. The motorcycle-themed Octane Lounge, shops, a showroom and an impressive food court. This floor is also home to the Canterbury Wedding Chapel and a large banquet facility.

What's On is a free magazine that details all of everything from shows to buffets; as well as contains plenty of ads for all of the helicopter and ground tours. It also contains numerous coupons for shows, restaurants, and other activities that can add up to quite a savings. Copies of What's On are sometimes hard to find. Ask your hotel's concierge or front desk for a copy.
The Luxor Hotel and Casino
4 Star - Starting at $165
The Luxor Hotel is also located at the south end of the Las Vegas Strip. Known for its brilliant beam of light into the sky, the Luxor offers cutting-edge restaurants, renowned entertainment, amazing attractions and comfortable accommodations.This 30-story black glass pyramid contains so many amenities on such an enormous scale that it's practically its own Vegas vacation. Spacious rooms surround the world's largest atrium, which boasts shopping, dining and entertainment.
The two-story LAX Nightclub attracts a slew of celebrities, while the Cat House Lounge restaurant is a modern interpretation of a 19th century French bordello featuring performers modeling CatHouse's own line of lingerie.

Indoor walkways make it easy to visit the Luxor's surrounding hotels, leading south through the Mandalay Place shops to the Mandalay Bay hotel and north to the Excalibur hotel. A monorail also connects the three properties.

Check out time for most hotels is 11AM or noon. If you are looking for a little extra time, ask the front desk if you can extend for an hour or two at no extra charge. Many places will advertise late checkouts (as late 6PM) for a small fee.
Treasure Island

Treasure Island is conveniently located in the center of the Strip. Now known simply as TI, TI includes some of the hippest hangouts in town, a tropical pool area with a party tub, a wide variety of restaurants and the first permanent Cirque du Soleil show in Vegas.
