OCTAGONAL PLATE
You could use a ceramic bisque plate to make this project. Getting the borders to match at the seams is the trickiest part. Some careful painting and decoupage.

PLASTIC SERVING DISH
Plastic serving dish from the $2.00 shop. Some very careful painting around the inside edge. If you are not confident about doing this, just skip that step. The plastic dish was sponged with the burgundy and cream and the flowers decoupaged on.

TISSUE BOX COVER
Craft wood tissue box cover available from craft supply shops. Paint on your background colour, then sponge on a slightly darker shade. Add the borders, then finally the flower print.

OLD CORNER CUPBOARD:
Old corner cupboard decorated with prints and some paint. Use masking tape to block in the areas where you want to put the thin lines. Use blue tack or a very light coat of spray on adhesive to hold your pictures in place temporally. Draw in the ribbons. Remove the prints. Hand paint the ribbons, then decoupage you prints in place.

DECORATE AND OLD TABLE
Decorate an old table with prints. Planning is the key here. Use a circle temp
