The ACLU's real agenda

The ACLU is a misnomer. It is not the American Civil Liberties Union as they claim. It is anti Religion, anti Traditional values, anti Democracy, anti children and pro Secular Progressive agenda, pro abortion, pro gay, pro drugs pro world order. They are not defined by what they claim to represent but by what they choose to defend. Action speaks louder than words.

My thoughts

I want to state that I was unaware of the actions of the ACLU until recently. I was under the impression that it is a civil liberties organization and only trying to protect our rights from our encroaching government. I believe most people are in the same state of mind. Once someone pointed out to me some of the current controvertial actions the ACLU have taken, I started to examine them more closely. My eyes were opened and especially by the history of this organization. I'm sure there are local chapters which are perfectly fine and trying to do the right thing and helping people who cannot help themselves in legal matters. However, what is disturbing is the path that the national ACLU leaders have taken. I believe they have hijacked this organization and have taken it to the far left of the political spectrum. As with any organization, a few bad apples can spoil the whole barrel.

Very important lens and thanks for doing it. I am reading "The ACLU VS America by Alan Sears and Craig Osten (Alliance Defense Fund). So far this is an "eye-opener". More people need to get involved. This organization is dangerous and is taking away our freedoms.

The ACLU also supported the KKK at one point in time. It is hard to support an organization that may stand behind groups and people that you completely disagree with, but it is important to remember that the ACLU is really standing up for all of our rights. If they pick and choose who to support and not to support then they are saying that some people's rights are more important than others.
