A Month of Hope Challenge

Welcome to A Month of Hope!

This lens has been created to highlight the great work of A Day of Hope, a nonprofit program that delivers baskets of food and turkeys to needy families for Thanksgiving.

A Month of Hope's goal is to bring attention to A Day of Hope by encouraging other lensmasters to create lenses that donate their royalties to A Day of Hope.

Not all lenses need to be fresh and brand new, existing lenses can be entered into the A Month of Hope contest as long as they are donating their royalties to charity.

What is the A Month of Hope Challenge

The A Month of Hope Challenge has been created to encourage lensmasters to do two things:

1. Build new lenses that donate their royalties to A Day of Hope.

2. Donate the royalties from their already build lenses to A Day of Hope.

Here's the coolest part: the lens with the most votes will receive Lens of the Day on Nov 26th. Only new lenses will be eligible for Lens of the Day, and the lens needs to donate 100% of it's royalties to A Day of Hope.

“The new lens with the most votes in the plexo will be Lens of the Day on November 26th!”

Who & what is A Day of Hope?

A Day of Hope is a program of ASI at California State University, Stanislaus that delivers baskets of food and turkeys to needy families for Thanksgiving.

A Day of Hope was founded by Christopher Scott in 2005 after thoughts and a calling to help local people in his community who were in need.

Since 2005 A Day of Hope has fed 415 families which resulted in over 2,000 people who had the pleasure of eating a Thanksgiving meal who otherwise would not have had one.

The work of A Day of Hope truly makes a difference in the lives of many people for Thanksgiving. It is their hope that a basket of food and turkey will give them the hope and encouragement they need.
Important!

-In 2005 A Day of Hope delivered 48 baskets to 48 families
-In 2006 A Day of Hope delivered 211 baskets to 211 families
-In 2007 A Day of Hope delivered 146 baskets to 146 families
