Auto and Shop Information... 25 questions 11 min time limit
Electronics Information... 20 questions 9 min time limit
Mechanical Comprehension... 25 questions 19 min time limit
Assembling Objects... 16 questions 9 min time limit
The Paragraph Comprehension, Word Knowledge, Arithmetic Reasoning and Mathematics Knowledge test sections combine to compose the AFQT. The AFQT is the part of the ASVAB that determines whether a candidate is able to enlist. A minimum score, based upon the branch of service chosen, for the AFQT is required.
