E-books
E-books have to be THE fastest, easiest way for busy parents to buy stories for children. No queuing up in shops, no having postage to pay for books ordered from catalog's and definitely no dates to remember for library book returns (to avoid hefty fines costing more than the books are worth). And when you buy them... wow! you don't find them all dog-eared with pages ripped out, at the bottom of the toy box or stashed under the bed, drawn on and chewed up by the escapee hamster, two days later. Children love using computers and e-books are a good complimentary reading resource. But THE VERY BEST THING about e books is....That you can read all about Fluff and his friend's adventures in one.Tail's Tale is in a very special e-book format. The pages actually curl as they turn, just like a real book. It is fully illustrated throughout and being written by Rob Daniel, has a wonderful lively entertaining story, that children will want to read over and over again.

Well if you really want to know what to expect from a turn-the-page ebook...here is a little sneeky peek picture of what it looks like. So what about the pictures?
A Tail's Tale was illustrated by an artist who lives in Warrington in the UK. It seems ironic that just after completing the illustrations for A Tail's Tale, she went out and bought a puppy LOL. Fluff and friends started life as little drawings in a sketchpad. Slowly, taking care to keep the feel of the story, the characters were worked on and evolved, (collaboration and to-ing and fro-ing of ideas between author and artist, who both live on opposite sides of the world) the illustrations eventually took shape into the characters they are now. Originally Tail did not have a face! The finished illustrations were done in a combination of watercolour, coloured pencil and pens. A strange choice perhaps but they seemed to achieve the right effect for the story. Elizabeth - the artist, is currently working on the illustrations for another book as well as many other projects.
