One therapist has gone to the trouble of creating a program that you use in private to help you recover. The techniques are proven yet rarely talked about in the world of therapy. You will learn not only why your mind has reacted to the trauma the way it has, but also how to train your mind to react in a more positive and constructive manner.

So, What Is The Basis Of This New Program That Will Cure PTSD?

Briefly, there are two actions that must be taken in order for an individual to clear a long standing pattern of responding (how you react to triggering stimuli) in an almost programmed way to negative emotions such as fear, anger and hurt.

Those actions are:

1. Neutralization, and

2. Reconditioning

Both steps are a 10 on the scale of importance and are not effective without the other.

Step One-Nuetralizing The Pattern Of Negative Repsonses

Neutralizing the pattern of unwanted responses (the way you feel, e.g. angry, fearful) that limit you in a given situation is actually rather easy. Identifying the pathways your brain uses to access the fear or anger and then "scrambling" those pathways will provide the opportunity to retrain the brain to use another pathway to positive emotions when faced with the same stimuli.

After all, the negative emotions are what we need to eliminate in order to feel better, right?

Step Two-Recondition The Brain Into A New Pattern Of Positive Responses

The old pathways will not truly be scrambled and eliminated unless we have given the brain a new pathway to use when faced with the stimuli that used to cause the negative reaction. Therefore, we must recondition the the brain by providing a positive alternative and instruct it on what you want it to do for you the next time it is faced with the stimuli that formerly invoked a negative response.
