It has been a varied life. I have had careers as a university professor, a mechanical engineer, a small business owner and a web master for various web sites that I own.

I have a wonderful, loving and supportive wife and two talented, creative and well educated daughters who have married productive and loving husbands. A recent granddaughter only adds to our sense of family and heritage.

My wife and I moved to the Southwest approximately 15 years ago and immediately fell in love with its people, culture, food, lifestyle, scenery and of course, the weather.

We have embraced the region and that is certainly reflected in our major web site which contains free recipes, articles on Southwestern traditions, products like chili pepper lights, luminarias, painted ponies, Southwestern and western Christmas ornaments and southwestern decor.

I have been creating pages on Squidoo for some time and below you will find a list of some of them. I find I enjoy doing it and it does provide a source of information for those looking to know more about the Southwest and other topics of which I have interest and knowledge.

I intend to add more to this page as time permits, but, for now, this should give you some sense of who I am.
