Discover If The Ab Circle Pro Is a Scam or a Good Abs Machine and If It's Healthy For You

Hi,
This is a review of the Ab Circle Pro, a stomach exercise machine which is being advertised like crazy these days.

After I saw the Ab Circle Pro infomercial I wanted to do a little research to see what people had to say about it. I am always skeptical when I see the massive promises these infomercials with those gorgeous men and women with perfect tummies (does anyone really think they got that fit with just one machine?).

I prefer information based abs program like Truth About Six Pack Abs usually, but I still wanted to see what people say about this machine.

At first, it was a bit hard as this machine is only sold through their website. You can't even find it on Amazon (who allows user reviews) which is a bit strange as most exercise machines are sold through there.

So, I had to dig a little deeper to find other places where people posted their reviews.

This review will show all that I discovered...

Ab Circle Pro Trial Offer - Know the True Price Before You Buy

When you go to the AbCirclePro website, you immediately see that there's a 30 day trial offer for just $14.95 which seems very cheap in comparison with other products.

However, this is not what it's really going to cost you. Read the fine print at the bottom of their website and you discover some hidden costs: you do pay $14.95 for the machine itself but also $34.50 for shipping and handling (which isn't refundable). If you don't send it back within 30 days, you will need to pay 5 payments of $39.95!

This brings the price of the Ab Circle Pro to well over $200! Not so cheap anymore, is it?
Especially when you can try an abs program like the Truth About Abs program for just $4.95 which is refundable.

Of course, if you send it back you won't pay those 5 payments, but you will have to cover the shipping costs of the returned item for another $34.50! This means that just for trying the product, you need to pay $70!

It is also unclear when the 30 day trial period begins: when you order the product or when you get it. As it takes 3 weeks to get this might present a problem and I wish they were clear on that.

I don't like how the real price is hidden away in the fine print. Of course, if the machine does what it claims it might still be worth it. It was time to compare the promise to the reviews people gave...

What the Ab Circle Pro Claims to Do

Does it Live Up To Its Promises?

The Ab Circle Pro claims to be able to help you lose stomach and waist fat quickly and easily by performing workout for just 3 minutes at a time.

The fitness celebrity who is the face of this product, Jennifer Nicole Lee, says that it's a great and super fast way to workout in the comfort of your own home and is much healthier than regular sit-ups.

The Ab Circle Pro allows you to work the abs and do an aerobic exercise at the same time. It can also be adjusted to work the lower body.

It has 3 levels of resistance and can be easily stored. It comes with a workout DVD an a short nutritional guide.

Okay, these are the basic facts, but does the Ab Circle Pro Really Work...

How You Really Burn Belly Fat

Why the Ab Circle Pro may Not be the Best Option

One thing which makes me angry when I see infomercials for ab products is how they promise that exercising the stomach burns belly flab. It doesn't! I have six pack abs and I don't do abs exercises at all!

It's has long been proven that our body burns off fat as a whole unit and not from one specific body part. Doing stomach exercises may strengthen the muscles but it won't reduce inches.

To do that you need a 3 part process:
  1. Do intensive cardio workouts

  2. Do full body strength training to increase muscle tissue and metabolism

  3. Eat sensibly to help the body get leaner

If you don't have all these 3 parts right, you will never get flat abs.

The Ab Circle Pro claims that it works the abs and provides a cardio workout. That may be so, but I don't think you need to spend $200 to do that. Furthermore, you will still need to do full body workouts to increase your metabolism and to follow a sensible eating plan. While you do get a dietary guide, it's no where near as comprehensive as what you get if you choose to invest your money in an abs program.

I'm not saying that the Ab Circle Pro is a scam. I believe it may be useful if you're just starting to exercise and need a constant reminder to workout at home.

All I'm saying as someone who's been down that road until I got six pack abs is that all the machines that I've seen and all the quick fix promises that I fell for amounted to nothing.

It was only when I realized that I will need to work hard to get lean and to invest in knowledge and not in equipment that I began to see results.

I read several abs programs and I recommend the Truth About Abs program.

This is a comprehensive program which teaches you how to workout and how to eat to get lean all over and not just in your stomach. It's detailed, easy to read and to apply, it's free of gimmicks and hype, and it costs much less than the Ab Circle Pro.

You can try it for $4.95 with no shipping costs and no hidden costs as you can download it to your computer in a few minutes.

Ab Circle Pro Testmonials and Reviews

I scoured the internet to find Ab Circle Pro reviews. Some were positive and some were negative.

Positive:
  1. People reported enjoying working out with the product

  2. Some reports state that the customer support was good

Negative:
  1. When you go to buy the Ab Circle Pro they will try to sell you more stuff which some people found annoying

  2. The knee pads tend to tear pretty quickly and aren't as comfortable as you would think

  3. There have been cases where the machine broke (you can pay a bit extra for an additional warranty period to help with that)

  4. People reported feeling more strain in their arms than their abs which is probably due to the weird position you have to take

  5. The resistance levels aren't that hard. You can get a similar effect from regular abs exercises and regular cardio

  6. The Ab Circle Pro has a weight limit of 300 lbs (as far as I know) - This seems to have not been advertised on their website

Okay, as you can see, there are many problems with this device. However, if you feel that it will help you get started to work out, then by all means, go ahead and get it.

Why Abs Programs are Better Than Abs Machines

It's difficult to make the right choice about which fitness product to buy. Why? Because we're not fitness experts. We lack the right kind of knowledge to make the right decision. However, let me say that I believe that it's better to invest your money in getting the right knowledge and not this machine or any other.

Why?
  1. Knowledge lasts forever. Machines don't

  2. Usually it's better to do bodyweight or free weight workouts than to work with machines

  3. Machines take up room. Knowledge doesn't

  4. Only knowing how to lead your life in the right way can get results which will last a lifetime. Abs Machines don't teach you anything

This is why I recommend getting an abs program like Truth About Abs - it shows you how to take the right steps to get lean all over and get healthy. I've used it myself and it produces results. I also know that it works for women as well as men.

Is the Ab Circle Pro Easy To Use

When you look at the infomercial everyone is smiling and it's certainly looks easy when you see that gliding motion. However, I seriously doubt that it's that easy to use.

In fact, keeping that position seems to place a lot of strain on the arms and back (as you need to keep yourself straight).

Again, I haven't used the Ab Circle Pro fitness machine myself, but I believe it may not be as comfortable as it seems on the knees, back, and arms.

I was thinking about getting this product, but after reading all the reviews I don't think so. I think this machine is for small people who don't have a lot of fat on their mid-section. I don't think it will work for me.

I had the ab circle for a couple of days and the roller disinigrated. It also made a strange noise to begin with. I returned it and got another one and within a week, the rollers disinigrated again. I was only using it 3 minutes a day. I bought it from a local retailer so plan to return the second one for a refund.

I've had mine for about six months and have to admit it does give you a good workout, however it doesn't trim the waistline as advertised. Additionally, this machine requires a lot of maintnenance as things are always need adjusting and tightening. The roller pan on mine as developed a hole in it so it no longer has a smooth gliding feel. Overall a decent peice of equipment but don't feel it's durable at all!

I bought the Ab Circle Pro on Ebay... When it arrived, one of the Knee pads was apart and the ball bearings were everywhere...It was new in the box... I put it together and started to use it... It was not very smooth as the rollers started pealing immediately... There were some small dings on the dish area and that increased the rough ride.. My arms are more sore than my stomache muscles.... Undecided as this is day two..

I think most of these machines work IF people only use them and use them properly. The myth is really that they give people the impression on these infomercials that it will be easy just watching tv and they don notput the offort into it or the dicipline to do it regualarly. OF course your arms will feel strain and hurt till they get used to the workout like all parts of your body that's not used to doing a certain motion. this is true of any exercise equipment whether at home or in a gym. i workout myself at the gym and i see people everyday doing virtually nothing (just going with the flow) and of couse they wont get results. I will get one of thos machines myself and i'm sure it will work . i'll keep you posted

I ORDER THIS PRODUCT AND I GOT IT FOR A MOTHN. GUESS WHAT I DIDN'T WORK FOR ME AT ALL. THE ONLY THING I GOT WAS HORRIBLE PAIN ON MY KNEES AND STRAINED MY ARMS. I WANT IT TO FEEL STRAIN FROM MY STOMACH BUT NOTHING WAS HAPPENING THERE. I EVEN DID FROM 20 MIN - 40 MIN EVERY WORK OUT. WHEN I CALL TO RETURNED THE PERSON I TALK TO WAS NOT CONCERN ABOUT ME NOT HAVING RESULTS. ALL SHE SAID WAS OK SORRY AND HERE IS A NUMBER TO RETURNED AND YOU HAVE TO PAY THE SHIPPING. HAAAAAA I ALSO DIDN'T GOT MY REFUND FOR MY $14.99 OR THE SHIPPING THE FIRST TIME. I'M REALLY UPSET AND ALSO SAD BECAUSE I HAD MY HOPES UP TO GET MY FLAT ABS. I DONT RECOMEND THIS PRODUCT AT ALL.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love the ab circle pro, and I got mine 4 weeks ago off of HSN.com and I really love how I dont feel it too much when I am doing it, but then I wake up sore and tighter. I am already shopping for my New years eve dress, as I already lost 6 pounds and I am gonna look really hot by then. I am keeping it and getting the 3 new exercise dvds with it.

I have an ab circle pro, and i think its great for someone who had a baby recently my daughter is 9 mo old and this for me is a good workout and doesnt kill my body which is STILL trying to recover from a bad csec. i have results since most of my fat is from the pregnancy...i found that just rolling doesnt do sht BUT If i keep my abs tight (and butt tight when i do the bun and thigh workout) i can feel it burning...though if later i am unhappy i can return it to them. no problem (great thing about the payment plan instead of buying it straight out). I plan on other workouts later but im using this till i get to a place where i feel like i can start running and other workouts again. (especially with a clingy baby)

Buy at a local sporting good store with a good return policy. Then u save on shipping charges. I bought it and tried it the first time today, and even though I broke a sweat I won't know til tomorrow if my muscles are sore. I do agree the knee pads are too hard, but I have soft "gardening" knee pads, I may try tomorrow in addition to the extra cushions they provide. Good luck!
