Costa Rica from Wikipedia

Costa Rica, officially the Republic of Costa Rica (Spanish: Costa Rica or República de Costa Rica, ), is a country in Central America, bordered by Nicaragua to the north, Panama to the east and south, the Pacific Ocean to the west and south and the Caribbean Sea to the east. Costa Rica was the first country in the world to constitutionally abolish its army. (Spanish) Among Latin American countries, Costa Rica ranks 4th in terms of the 2007 Human Development Index, and 48th worldwide. Costa Rica is ranked 5th in the world in terms of the 2008 Environmental Performance Index, up from the 15th place in 2006. 5 Stars and Favored!

Some virtual unschoolers came over to check out your lens and learned so much from it that they are sending you a virtual Cup of Coffee to hang on your wall.

KonaGirl, Like most places, if you can get by without the local
language (in this case spanish) really depends on where you
go.  For the most part, I would expect you to be
fine.  My
brother
is there right now and only speaks what he picks up
along the way...

Costa Rica is one of my dream places to go. I use to speak a little Spanish but have forgotten more than I remember. Can you get by if you don't speak the language when you go? 5 stars and I have lensrolled you to my Hawaii lens.
