Toy Fox Terriers

Hi Everyone. I'm Mac. This pic was taken of me when I was but a few days old. I am now 14 weeks old and the life of the party. Oh, my mom says I am the cutest little thing, but I am really a mess. I have a wonderful life in Missouri. My family consists of Rebel, Sadie, DD, and of course I have 2 human sisters(Tricia & Jame'). My mom and dad did alot of research on Toy Fox Terriers before they started a breeding program and that is why I am here. We really just want to show the world what a wonderful breed of dog the TFT  really is.

Toy Fox Terriers are a fairly new breed. Really, the AKC only recognized us back in 1993. Our breed began through people wanting small vermin hunting dogs. To get our size of 1-10 lbs. , they bred fox terrier "runts" with little chihauhaus and miniature pinschers. We are headstrong as bulls, courageous as lions, sweet as kittens, and as crafty as a fox.

Life for a Toy Fox Terrier consists of playing all day with whatever we can chase, chew on, or snuggle with. We don't have alot of those diseases like other breeds get nowadays and my mom feeds us Flint River Ranch kibble so that we eat healthy.

Also, we have a lifespan of about 20 years. So, I hope to live long enough to pass down my favorite chew toys to my little ones.

My mom says that she doesn't know what life was like before our pack came into her life. We keep her busy but she enjoys her time with us and loves to get in the middle of the floor and play with us.
