The best part of the above exercises is that you don't need to go to a gym to try this out. It is a simple workout and very effective.

Hanging Leg Raises:

Hang from a pull-up bar with a shoulder width grip. With knees just slightly bent (almost straight), raise your legs up until they almost touch the pull-up bar, while actually curling your pelvis up as well. Make sure not to perform this exercise with an arched back. The most important factor in this exercise is the curling up of the pelvis. If the curling of the pelvis is not done properly, it'll workout only the hip flexors and not the abs. By doing it properly and without arching the back, one can workout the abs as well as the hip flexors. If you have shoulder problems or have a weak grip and cannot properly grip the bar for the duration of the exercise, you can use the hanging elbow straps.

Hanging Knee Raises:

This workout is quite similar to the hanging leg raises, except that your knees are fully bent and you bring your knees all the way up to your chest while curling the pelvis up. This exercise basically reduces the amount of weight that you are lifting making the workout easier. This exercise can again be done with the help of elbow straps or without them according to your convenience.

Lying Leg Thrust:

This is a two part exercise- It involves a leg rise followed by a hip thrust. This is done by lying on the floor with your head and shoulders raised off the floor, your hands (palms down) on the floor by your hips, and your legs at a 90° angle from the floor. Great Ways to Get Great Abs!Slowly lower your legs half way to the floor, say at an angle of 45° from the floor. Do not lower your leg all the way down to the floor.
